Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (704) 960-4163. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is verbcoffeecompany.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 368 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes in Concord.

Concord is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Concord follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Adorable coffee shop serving coffee made from locally- and lightly-roasted beans (my favorite). The lovely barista made me an excellent cafe au lait which I enjoyed with a slice of ridiculously moist and flavorful cherry almond bread. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in a hotel and fast-food saturated area off the interstate. Beautiful natural light floods a uniquely-decorated space that gives diner, loft, cabin, spa vibes which somehow works! The team had an excellent playlist going. If I were local this would be my spot.

I just had an amazing 16 oz Matcha, lightly sweetened with lavender…very good choice and one of the beat I’ve had. Low key, fresh and a great place to talk concentrate on a task. Highly recommend!

I partner with Verb as my wholesaler for my coffee cart and they are the most incredible partners to work with. Jacob the owner is exceptional in every way. He is prompt with communication and always willing to go the extra mile to provide knowledge and service. I would drive around 40 min to pick up my coffee beans, but they now offer a delivery service which is so convenient for my events. Their Brazil that they roast themselves I always get rave reviews from my customers. I have tried other beans, but the Brazil is so forgiving and consistent it will always be my go to. If you are looking for a local wholesale partner, you can’t go wrong with Verb!

Verb Coffee has such a beautiful, light-filled atmosphere - it’s one of those places where you actually want to sit and stay awhile. The natural light alone makes it feel warm and inviting, and overall the vibe is really good. I stopped in for a little tea break and tried the carrot cake chai with cream cheese cold foam (shoutout to Addison for the recommendation), and wow… that drink is everything you want in a cozy fall moment. Super flavorful, perfectly balanced, and honestly something I’d go back for specifically. I also had the berry almond cake, which reminded me a lot of a Mexican wedding cookie - soft, slightly crumbly, and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. Really enjoyed that. The matcha was decent - nothing standout, but I did order it pretty basic, so it met expectations. My only downside was the number of flies, which did take away from the experience a bit. If that were handled, this place would easily feel near perfect. Overall, definitely a spot I’d come back to for the drinks, the light, and the vibe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Verb Coffee has such a light, airy atmosphere β€” it instantly puts you in a good mood the moment you walk in. The decor is beautiful and thoughtfully done, giving the whole space a calm, modern vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. Even the plates and glasses they use add an extra touch of elegance β€” it really elevates the entire experience. We tried the Vanilla Latte and the Maple Butter Latte β€” both were smooth, creamy, and delicious, though I will say they tasted quite similar. I was hoping for a bit more of a distinct flavor difference between the two, but they were still really enjoyable. The food, however, completely stole the show. We ordered the breakfast bowl and the breakfast burrito, and wow β€” both were phenomenal. The chipotle sauce they drizzle on top is absolute perfection β€” smoky, creamy, and adds just the right amount of kick. Overall, Verb Coffee is the perfect spot for a relaxing brunch or a cozy coffee date β€” beautiful space, great food, and plenty of charm.
